Wednesdays during Lent (February 25-March 25):

  • 5:30 pm – JaM (Jesus and Music), a joyful time of learning and worship for children ages 3 years through 6th grade.
  • 6:00 pm – Soup Dinner (Potluck)—Everyone is invited to gather for a simple meal shared in community.  Sign up in the Narthex so we know what food to expect.
  • 6:30 pm – Lenten Worship offers a reflective space rooted in Scripture, prayer, and song.
  • 7:00–8:00 pm, we close the evening with intergenerational activities, creating opportunities for all ages to learn, serve, and grow together. Come as you are, bring a friend, and be part of this meaningful Lenten journey together.

Masks are now optional at all FLRB events and worship. If you are sick or have been exposed to someone who is sick recently, please worship from home.

What is Worship Like?

Worship services are structured around traditional liturgical elements and scripture selections. Pastor John preaches out in front of the congregation; Terry Baird, our Faith Formation Director, offers a message aimed at our children; and Holy Communion is offered to all who wish to receive. Music includes a variety of styles and instruments.
