Children in Worship
As Christians we are called to worship this extends to children. Our worship space reflects this believe. We have children’s Bibles in the pews as well as children offering and prayer cards. We encourage children to make worship creations. Each week a different medium is offered (legos, pipe cleaners, paper etc..) and the children are invited to tell the bible story using them.

Programs you will be able to register for:
Sundays beginning September 20
- Nursery on Sunday Mornings during church (4 months – 6 years)
- Sunday School 9:15 am Sunday, Preschool-5th grade
- Tweens 5th-6th grade.* Note: 5th graders can choose between traditional Sunday School or a Pre-Confirmation style Sunday School
Wednesdays beginning October 7
- JaM – Jesus and Music 5:00-6:00 pm on Wednesdays. JaM is FLRB’s mid-week program for kids. JaM combines kids’ choir and Bible learning. At the end of each session, the kids perform what they learned, usually in worship.
The Prayground at FLRB
At FLRB, we believe children are not just the future of the church—they are a vital part of our community today. In that spirit, we are excited to introduce The Prayground.
A Prayground is a thoughtfully designed space within the sanctuary where young children can engage in worship through play, creativity, and age-appropriate materials. Located at the front left of the sanctuary, this area allows children to see, hear, and participate in worship in ways that are meaningful and accessible to them.
Seating is available nearby so that parents and caregivers can remain close, making it easier for families to worship together. Parents and caregivers are still responsible for supervising their children and should sit near the Prayground.
Our hope is that this space sends a clear and welcoming message: this room is for everyone—physically and spiritually—at FLRB. We look forward to growing together in worship as a community.
