As a congregation we want to grow both wider and deeper, meaning we want to grow numerically, but just as important, we want to grow deeper in our understanding and experience of God’s grace and love. To that end, we offer a number of classes and small groups for people to deepen their understanding of God through God’s Holy Word.
Sunday Mornings
Adult Education
Sundays in January 2026 at 9:15 am – Heidi Francis will facilitate six weeks of discussions on the ELCA social statements. The discussions will offer a structured opportunity to explore how Lutheran theology engages contemporary social issues. Each week focuses on a different statement—Economic Life, Health Care, Immigration, Child Abuse, Climate, and Criminal Justice—providing context for how these documents were developed and why they matter for the church’s public witness. The course encourages respectful dialogue, deeper understanding, and a sense of shared responsibility for living out the church’s commitments in the world.
Class Schedule:
Jan 11: Economic Life
Jan 18: Earth’s Climate Crisis
Jan 25: Criminal Justice
Feb 1: Immigration
Feb 8: Child Abuse
Feb 15: Health Care
