Festival of Cultures
Join us for the First Lutheran Church Festival of Cultures on Sunday, May 19, 2024 after worship. There are two fantastic ways to participate and celebrate diversity:
- Host a Cultural Showcase Table: Share your culture, heritage, or state by hosting a table. Feel free to bring flags, posters, art, artifacts, traditional clothing, musical instruments, and photos. Engage families with interactive elements such as teaching them to write their names in your language, offering art projects, or providing small food samples.
- Contribute to the Potluck: Bring a dish from your culture to share at our lunch potluck. Please let us know the name of your dish, its country of origin, and ideally the recipe (especially if it’s a family specialty!) Please indicate if your dish contains nuts for allergy considerations.

Each envelope’s number represents a dollar amount. Pick an envelope and return it with the corresponding amount of money and your contact information. The youth will send a postcard after the trip sharing about their experience. Envelopes available in the Narthex. 144 Envelopes = $10,000
