Senior Members and Friends at First get around!
Trips—especially for seniors--include excursions to the west, east, north and south, both near and far. We'll talk about Jesus, our navigator, expand our horizons, see sights, "do" lunch at tasty eateries and make new friends. Come join us!
Older Adults provide and receive care in a variety of ways, formal and informal.
Stephens Ministry provides a one-on-one lay ministry, especially for stressful times or periods of transition.
Eucharistic Ministers bring communion to those who can't attend worship.
First Lutheran provides hearing devices, CD's of the worship services, and all printed matter is available in large print.
Older adults (over 75 years) are remembered and honored by receiving a greeting near their birthday—We're glad God made you!
Transportation to worship services and other events is available for those who need it.

Senior Resources Center is the place to find current information on local housing options for seniors, devotional books and other books especially selected for our older adult readers. Many are available in large print. Located in the Library.
Writers' Club is a group composed largely (but not exclusively) of people over 60. They gather on 1st and 3rd Thursdays to further develop writing and storytelling skills. This group fosters a supportive and reflective atmosphere as they bring past experiences to bear on current concerns.
